Get A Grip

A Must Read For All WomenWarning for those of you are presently in an abusive relationship or recently leaving one -- this is so well-written and hits so close to home that it may trigger flashbacks. Nevertheless, it is a must-read for not just victims of domestic violence, but for all women.
Superb Book, Invaluable Resource
Great for a woman who has left an abusive marriageHer writing is encouraging and honest. The writing style kept me reading. The way she put into words the joy of leaving the cycle of abuse despite the hardship that it may bring is just great!

A excellent cross between business text and fiction
Fast-paced and InsightfulThis non-fiction tale has enough twists and turns and drama to match any thriller on the market. An informative and engaging tale of a pharmaceutical start-up and the people involved. Joshua is interesting enough that the book could have been solely about him, but he isn't the only one. All of the players in this ego-driven mega-drama are interesting on many levels.
Who would I reccomend this book to? Anyone who likes a well-told story. A background in medicine is not needed, and neither is a knowledge of business practices. All you need to enjoy this book is a brain . . . and a night light because you'll be reading this book deep into the night.
reads like a thriller

If you're broke or having money problems, buy this book now!Me, too. Until I found this book.
About 7 years ago, our family was suffering from unbelievable money problems. Depressed and confused, I decided to stop by the bookstore and browse the personal finance section. There was only one problem. I didn't have twenty or thirty dollars to buy money management advice. I decided to get Mary's book and could not believe how many great examples and strategies she gave for reducing debt.
By following Mary's instructions, our family quickly began reducing our debt and wiped out almost $ 20,000 of credit card bills within a few years.
Her book is my money "Bible" and like scriptures in a holy work, I have highlighted paragraphs on almost every page that give insights into a subject that had always been beyond my control.
This book saved my marriage and brought me peace.
I highly recommend it. . . to everyone.
Horray for Cheapskates!

Sexy, 'Can't put it down for a second' Summer Read.
Guilty PleasuresBagshawe has a real winner here. This book is sexy, funny, mercilessly incisive about the New York scene, and very very well written. Her sexy, panting characters actually live and breathe. We care about what happens to them, and we can't wait for them to jump back between the sheets. Man! The sex! Explicit stuff written from a woman's perspective is hard to find, but she's got it. I confess I was blushing as I read it, but I couldn't stop! I can't wait to read her next one, and I sure wish they'd publish her earlier books here in the states. Bagshawe, keep them coming!
Sexy, Captivating & FunFOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS is the story of Diana Verity. The novel opens with the very demure, very British, and very princess-like Diana on the morning of her wedding to Ernie Foxton. Ernie has just been named head of a huge publishing house in New York, and after the wedding, the two are heading to New York to live. It doesn't take Diana long to find her footing in the top social circles in Manhattan. Her weekly dinner parties are a hit, she's getting all sorts of great publicity, and making good friends with the highest ranking society ladies in NY. What Diana doesn't realize is that her life, her marriage and her social standing is all one big game, and it seems she is playing it a little too well for some people's tastes. She ends up finding out about her husband's affair, and refuses to sit back and take it quietly. She leaves and tries to make it on her own assuming Ernie will come running after her. He doesn't, but Diana soon realizes that maybe she doesn't need Ernie. Will Diana pick herself back up and regain her place in society? Will she find the one true love she never had in Ernie? All these questions are answered, and getting to the answers is all the fun. Highly recommended!

Excellent resource!
Great for all parents. This book gives you general guidelines of what is taught and more importantly the skills they should have, for example by the end of kindergarten they should be able to recognize and repeat simple patterns and they should be able to throw, catch and kick a ball; by the end of 1st grade they should be able to listen to, repeat and follow two step directions and they should be able to throw and catch a beanbag.
This book is well-written, it is easy to find what your looking for and assess if your on track.
I refer to this book constantly! It's not the kind of book you read once and pack away. It's a book that you keep pulling out again and again.

Loved It
Amazing story of Stevie Wonder AND his motherJOURNEY OF LULA HARDAWAY, STEVIE WONDER'S MOTHER
by Dennis Love and Stacy Brown . . . it is an authorized biography
of Wonder and his mother, based on interviews with the both
of them.
I had listened to Wonder's music over the years, but did not know
too much about his background . . . how he achieved the
success that he did is nothing short of amazing, especially
given his blindness.
He comes across as a talented worker not fazed by his blindness,
along with being a loving son, a prankster and a womanizer . . . his
mother's tale of devotion was particularly moving, though I would
have liked to have heard more about what happened to her
after her son's success . . . I'm also curious as to what
happened to his brothers since very little information is given
about them.
The narration by Viola Davis was excellent; so much so, in fact,
that I want to find more about her . . . I'll be curious to find out if
she has read other books and/or appeared on screen.
A striking story
